I’m Sue!

Hi there! I’m Sue Nelson, and I’m so glad you’re here at A Virtuous Home.

For over seven years, I’ve been a faith-based blogger, encouraging Christian women to grow spiritually, cultivate their homes, and walk confidently in the calling God has placed on their lives. I’m also the founder of Woman of Noble Character (womanofnoblecharacter.com) and the author of four books, including The Proverbs 31 Woman in Today’s World.

As a wife to my amazing husband Mike, mom to four grown children, and grandma to seven precious grandkids, I understand the joys—and sometimes chaos—that come with building a Christ-centered home. Oh, and did I mention our very spoiled dog and two cats? They keep things lively around here!

Not long ago. one of our Pastors shared with me that my husband was telling him about my work with Christian women. He told our pastor that not only do I teach Proverbs 31, I live it. I melted into a puddle and praised God.

Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” – Proverbs 31:28-29
